Space is the Difference
East Beach Tourist Park at Low Head, Tasmania, offers relaxed beachfront cabins and camping across 22 acres of open coastal grounds. Set just behind the dunes with plenty of room to spread out, unwind and enjoy the natural surroundings, it’s a peaceful place to stay just moments from the beach.
Take a walk along the beach in the afternoon, watch the sun set near the Low Head Lighthouse, then settle in for the evening around a campfire under the stars.
Camp with the Wildlife – Pademelon wallabies leave widespread evidence as they roam throughout the park each evening after dusk. However, our resident Tasmanian devils, echidnas, wombats and possums are more discreet and harder to spot amongst the dunes. The yellow-tailed black cockatoos are a magnificent sight as they screech overhead.
As Australia’s third oldest European settlement, preceded only by Sydney and Hobart, Low Head is rich in history, with many fascinating local sites and attractions waiting to be explored.
With a range of accommodation options and a laid-back coastal atmosphere, East Beach Tourist Park is an easy place to switch off and enjoy your stay.
